Mr. Shirley has an impressive professional background and has been instrumental in the founding and development of Akyma Pharmaceuticals.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Samford University of Birmingham, Alabama, and attended graduate school at the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in Brooklyn, New York.

Presently, Mr. Shirley envisions that Akyma will continue to conduct research and development for its own generic pharmaceuticals.  Under Mr. Shirley's leadership, the company plans to create and build additional relationships to gain market share and complete the development of their lines.

Mr. Shirley oversees the various company departments, and plans, develops and establishes policies and objectives of the business organization in alignment with the Board of directors, company charter and company vision.  He also directs programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations in order to maximize return on investments, and seeks business opportunities with other organizations.
